A colourful Glastonbury inspired farm wedding
Nicole & James’s festival themed wedding at Clawdd Offa Farm was one of the most laid back and fun weddings of 2018! “Glastonbehan” was unapologetically THEM! All their favourite people, food and music in one place, surely that’s all you want from a wedding?!
Here are a few words from the happy couple about their amazing day;
“When we started planning our day, we picked 3 things that we weren’t willing to compromise on. Our location, food and the band. After this everything else seemed to fall into place.
Finding our perfect ‘festival site’ venue helped us design our Glastonbury wedding. Our food included sharing style elements, lots of colour and BBQ cooking which brought the outdoors inside. As for the band, we’d seen them several times before at Glastonbury so it became the obvious choice to get everyone on the dance floor.
We went to town on the finer details making festival lanyards, baffles, glitter station and festival flags which really brought it all together. We personalised our ceremony completely with our Celebrant writing our own readings and having music played by our friends. With so much colour and fun going on, we had to get a photographer who could capture it all – Emma was the perfect fit – fun and colour is totally her thing! It went without a hitch, we felt totally surrounded by love and the rain even stayed away for our outdoor ceremony!
Advice for future couples:
1. Do exactly what you want.
2. Don’t go into debt for it.
3. Personalise your ceremony so it’s all about you as a couple.”
Sound advice from The Behans if you ask me! Thanks Nicole & James, it was truly a pleasure to be part of your big day! xx
