Colourful wedding photography in Liverpool
This ridiculously bright and colourful wedding in Liverpool took place during the heatwave of the summer, remember that?!
This was anything but traditional (apart from the actual legal bit!) as the couple just wanted to celebrate their love, have fun and do it THEIR WAY!
With a lot of Rachel’s family and friends flying in from America, some having never met John or his family before, the emphasise really was on making the day a big celebration rather than getting bogged down in what you should or shouldn’t do for your wedding!
Rachel made her amazingly colourful dress herself (with a matching one for their little daughter!) which she matched with bright pink Dr. Martens and they walked down the “aisle” at St George’s Hall together. They didn’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen but they did let their children Magnus and Marla take part in the speeches which ended in Magnus hogging the mike and causing mass hysterics!
They just wanted a laid back, fun day full of love, laughter, happy faces and great food (expertly provided their reception venue Leaf on Bold Street!)
