My couples tend to be very similar to me. They are more interested in having fun on their wedding day, doing things their way rather than the traditional way! They want the day to be relaxed and free flowing without interruptions from a photographer, they want to put their creative stamp on the day without spending a fortune, they want a big bloody party and for their guests to have a BALL!! They don’t want to have to micro-manage the day, they don’t want to pose for cheesy photos and they don’t want to be taken away from their guests for ages either! My brides are not Bridezillas!
My favourite weddings always include;
Lots of smiles and laughter
A relaxed, creative vibe
Lots of colour
Fab food and wine
Great music and lots of dancing
Family and friends having a ball
Lots and lots of FUN!!
Here are some things I'll do on your big day....
Put you at ease, all my couples say I’m good at this!
Blend in with your guests to capture your day as naturally as possible. I often get asked if I’m a friend of the couple who just happens to have a fancy camera.
Be constantly looking for colour. Whether it’s a wall full of graffiti, a bright blue door or a rhododendron bush I will put you in front of it, or in it!
Come to the rescue when you need a safety pin or tissue!
Watch and shoot what’s happening, always looking for the little moments that you might miss on the day.
Take some beautiful couple portraits, I usually only need about 20 mins with you and this can be one session after the ceremony or two shorter sessions so you can concentrate on having fun.
Chat to your Nan!
My style is relaxed, colouful and fun!
And a few things I won't....
I won’t tell you how your day should run, it’s your day not mine! I’m just there to photograph it and have fun!
I won’t get in the way or stop proceedings to take photographs.
I won’t take you away from your guests for hours on end.
I won’t make you pose for awkward AF, cheesy pics!

"We fell in love with Emma’s style of photography before we met her. Her love of colour and capturing natural moments of laughter and fun was obvious!"
