It was an absolute pleasure for me to be part of this Holesfoot Cumbria wedding!
I’ve been visiting the Lake District for many years now, so when Katie & Tom got in touch about shooting their wedding I jumped at the chance!
Holesfoot is located in the magnificent countryside of the Eden Valley and was crowned The Best Wedding Venue in the North West 2025 by The Wedding Industry Awards! They specialise in three day wedding weekends so you can have the whole stunning venue to yourself, with room for 60 guests to stay onsite.
You can choose from five places to hold your wedding ceremony – The Barn, The Italian Garden Terrace, The Walled Garden Canopy, The Pond Jetty, & The Long Room. The team at Holesfoot are amazing and really want all of their couples to feel at home. They also work really hard to bring the vision you have for your wedding to life!
Katie & Tom were busily getting ready when I arrived, Tom making some finishing touches to his speech while Katie was having her hair and make-up done. There was a real buzz of excitement in the air, and as I’d already met K&T (and their two little girls) on their pre-wedding shoot, I felt like part of the gang straight away!
The whole day was full of lovely people having the best time, celebrating K&T’s love in stunning surroundings with loads of beautiful little details (Katie did the bird themed table plan herself while on maternity leave!). Summer outdoor ceremony
K&T chose The Italian Garden Terrace for their wedding ceremony. I mean, on a gorgeous August day like they had it would be a travesty not to! Surrounded by colourful flowers and views of the countryside, it’s absolutely stunning!
