I absolutely love photographing flowers so putting together a blog post on the top wedding florists in Liverpool was my idea of Heaven! It was the perfect excuse to go through past weddings and select some of my favourite shots of the beautiful florals I’ve seen over the years!
If you love plants and flowers as much as I do then your wedding flowers will be an important part of the vision you have for your big day. Therefore, it’s important to find a florist whose work you love (just like your photographer!) who can work with you to bring your vision to life!
There are so many amazingly talented wedding florists in Liverpool so I’ve tried to narrow it down a little to the ones I’ve actually worked with. There are plenty of others out there who I hope to work with soon!
Below you will see a variety of styles which will hopefully give you some ideas for your own wedding. Or it might just confuse you even more! Haha!
Mary Mary Florals
Mary Mary Floral Design is an independent female-owned florist based in Liverpool city centre.
Their work is bold, beautiful, and creative, I can usually tell a Mary Mary bouquet a mile off!
“I’ve always been inspired by the limitless potential for expression through flowers that floristry offers. I love working on weddings and big installations. Being able to create and provide joy with a bouquet, or make someone’s wedding day extra special with flowers is such a great feeling.
I look to colour theory, seasons, pop culture and architecture for daily inspiration. Whether we’re working with a client’s vision or our own, I’m always driven to bring something different to the table.” Anna – founder of MMF.

Arta’s Flowers
Arta describes her wedding flower creations as “untamed and not traditional. We play around with so many different textures and colour palettes to create that wild natural look.”
Arta also loves to champion local produce and from March to October uses local farmers in Liverpool. She only uses the very best quality of flowers because wedding flowers are such an important part of the ceremony and reception decorations.
You can see more on Arta’s website.
Agnes & Bee
Kate from Agnes & Bee describes her gorgeous floral creations as “Wild, Romantic, Unstuctured Flowers For The Daydreamers and Wild at Heart.”
I love the way she combines different flowers and bold colours in her bouquets and even her buttonholes are little works of art!

Karena Artisan Florist
Based on College Road, Crosby (just round the corner from my boyfriend’s house!) You can find out more on their Facebook page.
Wirral and Cheshire wedding florists
I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some incredible wedding florists just outside of Liverpool. Here are a couple of bonus florists from the other side of the Mersey and beyond!
Ewer-Roberts Flowers
Working from their shop in Oxton Village, Ewer Roberts Flowers AKA Sarah and Abi, draw on years of experience creating unique, tailor-made, memorable flowers with fragrance and style. They are renowned for their service, attention to detail, creativity and “nothing is too much trouble” attitude.
With nature in mind they source flowers from worldwide growers as well as local suppliers, with specialist knowledge. Colour and fragrance are paramount in their work.
Visit their website for more info!
Holyrood Flowers
Janet at Holyrood Flowers promotes using seasonal, British-grown flowers and her own home-grown blooms from April to October. This gives her clients something a little different to the norm! It means that they are super-fresh, scented (like flowers should be!) and they have a much lower carbon foot-print. Janet is based on the border of North Cheshire and Merseyside.
You can see more of Janet’s work on her website!
Leaf Flowers
