A gorgeous Cow Shed at Foxley Brow wedding – Maddie & Steve

A smiling bride and grrom at The Cow Shed at Foxley Brow wedding venue

Maddie & Steve’s wedding on Saturday was everything I had hoped it would be, and more!

Their Cow Shed at Foxley Brow wedding was full of all the things I love. Gorgeous weather, fun guests, amazing food at a beautiful venue, lots of colour and a couple who just smiled ALL DAY!!

I started the day at the home of Maddie’s parents on a gloriously sunny day! Everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere really relaxed. I was blown away by the fact that Maddie had made her own dress (with a little help from her mum and sister!) Isn’t it beautiful?

I also got to work with Jasmine & Andy AKA Great Day Films. They have a very similar style to me i.e. relaxed, colourful and FUN! Really hope I get to work with them again soon!

Maddie & Steve were married at the family’s local church just round the corner. It was packed to the rafters when I arrived, full of family and friends excited to witness this lovely couple tying the knot! Once all the legal bits and bobs were done we all headed back out into the sunshine for an epic confetti toss. Guests spilling into the road and passing cars beeping the newlyweds (in a good way!)

Then it was off to their reception venue, The Cow Shed at Foxley Brow!

This stunning, countryside venue in Antrobus is a photographer’s dream. The barn has a beautiful rustic charm with neon signs and fairy lights aplenty. It was decorated with lots of colourful flowers in bottles donated by various gin loving guests! I’ve also got to mention the colourful gardens. This is where the guests enjoyed lawn games, fizz and canapes in the May sunshine!

After the speeches and food everyone was able to catch the last of the sun in the outside seating area. I took the wedding party off for a mini shoot which was so much fun as they had all enjoyed a few beverages with the meal! Then it was back into the barn where everyone hit the dancefloor and the party really got going!

This was my first visit to The Cow Shed and I must admit, it’s gone to the top of my favourite venues list. Hope I get to visit again soon!

Mr & Mrs Berwick! Thank you so much for having me with you to capture your big day, I’m still smiling now just writing this! xx
