Last weekend I took a little trip up to the Lake District to shoot Lorren & Grant’s beautiful Askham Hall wedding.
A new venue for me and what a venue it is! I was greeted by a field of daffodils as I entered the grounds and knew straight away I was going to stick the newlyweds right in the middle of it!
Lorren and her 8 bridesmaids were all busy getting ready when I arrived, and by getting ready I mean drinking Prosecco and singing along to pop songs! Opie the Pug popped in to say hello and had a little accident on Lorren! Luckily she was still in her PJ’s at that point! Everyone was beyond excited and thrilled with the amazing weather. This meant the wedding ceremony and drinks reception could all take place outside.
The rest of the day was just awesome! Glorious weather, men in kilts, bridesmaids in sequins belting out songs from Grease, delicious food, drinking, dancing, lots of laughter and the happy couple smiling from ear to ear all day, surrounded by their amazing family and friends!
