Where do I start with these two amazing people?! Well, let’s go back to the mid 90’s when I was a teenager working in Dolcis shoe shop on Church Street in Liverpool, remember it?! One day this bubbly blonde girl started and we became friends instantly! It was hard not to like Emma as she was so friendly and chatty (i.e. she never shuts up!) with an infectious smile and a mischievous laugh that you could hear a mile off! We had many crazy nights out together and even more hungover mornings hiding in the back of the stockroom recalling our drunken antics from the night before! Those were the days when we were able to go out Friday night, work all day Saturday, back out that night and work again on Sunday. On about 5 hours sleep all weekend! Oh to be a teenager again! 🙂
Anyway, back to the present! We’d lost touch for a few years as people do when they move away to uni, change jobs etc but through the power of Facebook we reconnected again about 10 years ago along with a few others from the Dolcis crew! I can honestly say Emma doesn’t look much different to how she did when we were drinking vodka Mule and dancing round The State on Dale Street, and she’s still as chatty! 😉
As you can imagine when she told me she was getting married to the lovely Steve and asked me to be her photographer I didn’t hesitate!! It’s going to be an absolutely bloody brilliant wedding! If the hen and stag do’s are anything to go by then it’s going to be one massive celebration! Liverpool meets Essex for the party of the century!
Here are some images from their pre-wedding shoot in Liverpool a few weeks ago. I was really looking forward to meeting Steve, seeing Emma again but of course I was most excited about getting cuddles off Woody, their gorgeous rescue pup! I think it’s safe to say he was the star of the show! 🙂
Emma, Steve, I can’t wait to see you two tie the knot on Sunday. You are made for each other and deserve all the happiness in the world! Love you! xxxx
