Super colourful and fun Baltic Hotel wedding Liverpool

Last summer I had the absolute pleasure of capturing LJ & Amy’s AMAZING St George’s Hall and Baltic Hotel wedding in Liverpool city centre!

I probably say this quite a lot, but I knew from their enquiry email that I wanted to shoot this wedding and that we would have a ball together. And we did!

These two are just the loveliest couple. Full of energy and obsessed with their cats and roller derby! They are totally besotted and clearly made for each other!

Their big day was BURSTING with colour, and also included incredible outfits from King & Allen (LJ) and Flamingo Boulevard (Amy), a shitload of confetti from Flutter Darlings, Gushers (girl ushers) in bright pink suits, a group photo dash challenge, a shag cake (never heard of that before but I love it!) and some incredible dancefloor action, including the brides getting tossed into the air. I’m sure you’re starting to understand why I loved this day so much!

LJ & Amy, THANK YOU so much for asking me to be a part of your special day! I loved every minute of it as I know you did too!

If you’re wondering what having me at your wedding is like, here is a bit of an insight from LJ;

“Emma! Where to start! Thank you so much for being totally amazing. You made us both feel at ease and everything was fun, just like you said it would be! I had so many people coming up to me saying ‘Your photographer is lovely!’

We felt like you really got us as a couple and your natural approach was very reassuring. I was also very appreciative of the calming drops before the ceremony.
In my opinion every wedding should have you as the photographer. Thank you for making our day that bit more special with your magic! Thank you so much Emma, you are a queen!”

Baltic Hotel Wedding Photography

I’ve shot a couple of weddings at The Baltic Hotel now and it’s a really great venue if you’re looking for something a bit less traditional in Liverpool. The Attic, with its exposed brickwork and beams is a lovely, relaxed space for your wedding breakfast. On the ground floor is The Parlour with a mezzanine over the dancefloor and room for 200 of your closest friends and family to party the night away! LJ and Amy certainly did that as you can see from the photos at the end!

Another great thing about The Baltic Hotel is its location which is in the heart of the Baltic Triangle, the creative hub of Liverpool city centre. The venue is surrounded by interesting buildings and ever-changing artwork and graffiti. Perfect backdrops for this colourful wedding photographer and fun loving couples!
